Store Manager - BUCO Nelspruit
Overview
The Store Manager is responsible for ensuring the profitability, growth, and continuity of the store by managing costs while maximizing sales turnover. This role involves planning and budgeting in collaboration with operational leadership, managing procurement, stock control, and maintaining optimal stock levels. The Store Manager also oversees financial management and ensures compliance with budgetary constraints, addresses customer service issues effectively, and manages day-to-day operations of the store.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Preferably a commerce bachelor’s degree / or equivalent experience
- Preferably Financial or Management diploma
- 5-10 years retail experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a junior-mid level management position
- Previous industry related experience
- Financial acumen
- Inwards and Outwards Logistics/Procurement skills
- Merchandising principles
- Preferably have knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
