Overview
The Store Manager leads a dynamic team to ensure the store meets its business KPIs by driving sales, controlling costs, mitigating risks, and maintaining world-class store standards. The role includes engaging in stock management, implementing promotions, and ensuring a high standard of customer service.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Proficient in English
- Relevant tertiary education - a degree/diploma in a business/retail related field would be an advantage
- Ideally 1-2 years experience in a retail environment within a leadership role
- Computer Literate (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite - will be an advantage)
Responsibilities
- Increase sales by focusing on customer service and maintaining world-class store standards
- Minimise stock loss by fostering a healthy store culture and adhering to security measures
- Manage costs according to company guidelines
- Ensure administrative duties are performed as per company guidelines
- Lead a team through training, coaching, and performance management
- Maintain general health, safety, and housekeeping standards
