Overview
The Store Manager will lead a team to achieve business KPIs by driving sales, managing costs, mitigating risks, and ensuring administrative tasks and store standards are upheld. This role involves training and coaching a dynamic team while maintaining a positive store culture and customer service excellence.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Proficient in English
- Relevant tertiary education - a degree/diploma in a business/retail related field would be an advantage
- Ideally 1-2 years experience in a retail environment within a leadership role
- Computer Literate (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite - will be an advantage)
Responsibilities
- Increase sales by focusing on customer service and world-class store standards
- Maintain store image, stock management and promotional implementation
- Minimise stock loss by following security measures and cash handling procedures
- Manage costs according to the company's low-cost culture by driving efficiencies
- Ensure administrative duties are done according to company guidelines
- Lead and train a dynamic team, taking responsibility for coaching and performance
- Maintain health, safety, and housekeeping standards in the store
