Overview
Freshmark is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Depot Manager to lead the FlowerCo Gauteng Depot. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, service delivery, inventory control, workforce management, compliance, and profitability.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Relevant qualification in Horticulture, Agricultural Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management advantageous
- Minimum 5 years' experience in FMCG, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Distribution
- Minimum 3 years' management experience leading operational teams
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all day-to-day depot operations
- Drive productivity, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage workforce planning, inventory control, stock accuracy, and product quality
- Collaborate with Transport, Trading, Planning, and Support teams to ensure service delivery targets are achieved
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company standards
- Monitor and report on operational KPIs and depot performance
- Manage costs, budgets, and profitability targets
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and develop operational teams
