Overview
The Department of the Premier, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a dynamic individual to render a psychometric assessment service.
Requirements
- Applicable four-year post-school qualification in Psychology, Industrial Psychology or Educational Psychology at NQF 8
- Registration as an Independent Psychometrist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
- A valid Code 8 driving licence
Responsibilities
- Deliver competency assessment services, including assessment planning, preparation, administration, scoring and processing
- Interpret assessment results and provide feedback to panels, individuals and development line managers
- Provide psychometric advisory services, expert input and behavioural/assessment-related interventions
- Conduct research on psychometric tools and practices, develop psychometric solutions, and compile trend analysis reports
- Ensure ethical, professional and legislative compliance in all psychometric activities
- Maintain assessment-centre information, records, databases and resources, and contribute to project planning, monitoring, reporting and quality assurance
- Contribute to psychometric project planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement
