Site Manager- Shopping Centre
Overview
Manage the day to day security operations of a large Shopping Centre in Midrand, ensuring adherence to site specific security requirements and meeting the Client’s needs efficiently and professionally.
Requirements
- Matric certificate
- Psira Grade A or B registered and accredited
- At least 8 years experience in a management role in the security industry
- At least 5 years experience in managing a large shopping centre
- Experience as a Site Manager managing a large security compliment
- Knowledge and experience in investigation techniques
- Knowledge of stock losses and shrinkage action plans
- Staff management experience
- Computer literacy
- No criminal record
- Own reliable transport and valid Drivers Licence
- Must live in close proximity of the Midrand area
- Willing to work extended hours / weekends / public holidays
Responsibilities
- Maintain good relations between Fidelity Security Services Group and the Client regarding security services
- Ensure timely posting of Security Officers on site
- Train Officers on site focusing on risk prevention
- Ensure Security Officers meet contractual requirements
- Enforce strict discipline
- Identify risks for possible threats and draft action plans
- Evaluate service levels and make recommendations for improvement
- General management and supervision of a large security compliment
- Handle HR related matters promptly
- Investigate incidents and report on them
- Attend meetings with the client
- Submit reports to line management and the client
